Cooperation EMT / SCHRAMM group begins with stevedoring on Helgoland
Handling equipment will be delivered in September by the company BauMa
Since October 1998 the logistics company EMT GbR is operating on the North Sea island Helgoland . The two owners Knud Müller and Heiko Ederleh offer with their company cargo and baggage services. Furthermore, EMT is responsible for the freight transport on the upstream dune and in the seasonal traffic for transportation of baggage and mail.
Hans Helmut Schramm, CEO of SCHRAMM group based in Brunsbüttel, offers logistics services with his company from a single source. In particular, here the emphasis port operations, heavy lift logistics and tugboat operator should be mentioned.
For now two years the company deals with the logistics on Helgoland and since January 2011 the SCHRAMM group operates with an own office on the location Helgoland. With Frank Botter, a native islander, a competent employee could be hired.
On 01.10.2011 the cooperation EMT / SCHRAMM group will officially begin with the port handling and logistics services for Helgoland. Crucial for this date was the closing down of a longstanding stevedoring operator on the island. "With this cooperation we are able to continue to serve our customers with high quality, and expand our business through the size of the device," explains Heiko Ederleh, co-owner of EMT. The company BauMa will deliver a new fox excavator, which can be used in many ways on the island and port applications.
"We are convinced that the future of Helgoland requires an optimization in the logistics chain and the cooperation between EMT and SCHRAMM group will make a major contribution" Hans Helmut Schramm says . He is very confident about the future work of the new cooperation.
